With BlueStone Off-Site backup solution, you know exactly where the physical location of  your data is. It can be stored at your second business location, at your own house, or at our local facility.

Business Pro Services: $250/month for 499 GB, ($3,000 annually) - $500/month for 1 TB ($6,000 annually) based on the price of 499 GB rate.

Amazon S3 charges $300/month/user plus Data Transfer charges per month. - $600/month for 1 TB ($7,200 annually) based on the price of 499 GB rate.
 

$100/month ($1,200 annually) for managing the off-site backup drive and performing administrative tasks and monitoring daily backup operations. (Unlimited Storage, based on the capacity of hard drive).

In case of disaster recovery

In case your Business hard drive(s) and computers go down due to any reasons (Natural disaster, theft, sabotage, hardware failure,  user error, software viruses,…), you have to first buy a new external hard drive (s), install and configure all hard drives on all computers and servers , and then download your full on-line data from the CLOUD. This could take days or even weeks depending on the size of your data and depending on the on-line storage connection speed that is allowed to your business.
 

When using BlueStone Off-Site Backup solution, in case of disaster, all you have to do is connect your second off-site NAS drive to your business network and you are in business! Even before you do that you can access your off-site data remotely through a secure connection thereby avoiding any down time whatsoever.

Users and admin permission, and other features

Minimal

We offer many features: we can configure different access and permissions on any folder(s) on your NAS drive(s). For example, you can set up access permission with special credentials (User ID/Password) for different departments or even provide specific access to your clients to access certain files or folders.
 

Remote Access

You access your data through limited browser interface.

Access your files securely from anywhere, from your desktop, laptop, cell phone, while traveling, while visiting a client, even while at the beach! You can view/edit/add/delete your file and folders; all thought direct and secures connection to your own NAS drive.
 

Storage Expandability

You have to pay for any additional storage

If you getting close to run out of disk space on your NAS, all what you have to do is adding a new larger hard drive inside your NAS which take few minutes to do, and this will not increase our monthly charges; unlike other on-line or CLOUD backup services, which they increase their monthly rate based on data size and transfer amount.
 

Connectivity and Ownership

You do not own the cloud space where you save your data and you do not have control over the network.

You own a physical hard drive with a full copy of your data, and you have a direct network connection to your off-site drive.

Hardware RAID option

You do not know if your data is protected with RAID, or even copied properly.

BlueStone backup uses NAS equipment with RAID option. RAID stands for Redundant Array of Independent Disks. RAID arrays allow multiple individual hard disks to be combined to perform as if they were one larger disk, and the effect is to spread and replicate the data across multiple disks. That, in turn, reduces the risk of losing all data if one drive fails.

In the past, hardware RAID had been available only in high-end servers and enterprise solutions.
